STAR reimagines padel tournament with elegance and networking

STAR introduces a hybrid padel event that blends competitive sports with premium atmosphere and evening glamour. Founded by two EDHEC students, the project aims to elevate the padel experience through professionalism and aesthetics. Under the slogan 'Play by day. Shine by night,' it combines daytime matches with nighttime networking.

STAR is a padel tournament concept developed by Louis Barbato and Oscar Tillac, students from EDHEC. The initiative addresses the lack of elegance in typical padel events and the absence of sports in sophisticated social gatherings. By merging these elements, STAR promotes a seamless experience featuring sporting excellence, fluid organization, and artistic direction.

Each event includes dynamic sports programming on the court during the day, transitioning to an elegant evening under controlled sound ambiance and continuous energy. The founders emphasize meticulous planning to ensure high-quality execution for participants.

Beyond competition, STAR serves as a networking hub. It facilitates connections through formats such as external speakers, speed networking sessions, short workshops, and guided exchanges. This approach fosters bonds among participants based on both athletic performance and personal interactions.

Overall, STAR embodies a hybrid model of sports and celebration, with precise organization and a consistent identity. It offers a unique shift from daytime play to nighttime spotlight, creating memorable experiences for all involved.
