The Pittsburgh Steelers signed wide receiver Levi Wentz to their offseason roster on Monday and released two other players as part of ongoing roster adjustments.
The team announced the moves on Monday, adding Wentz on a one-year contract while releasing inside linebacker Daylan Carnell and punter Aidan Laros. Wentz, a Pittsburgh native who attended Pine-Richland High School, previously played at Kansas in 2025 where he recorded 16 receptions for 258 yards and two touchdowns.
Wentz had been waived by the Seattle Seahawks earlier this month after signing as an undrafted free agent. The addition marks the second wide receiver the Steelers have signed this month, joining Joaquin Davis.
Carnell was an undrafted free agent from Missouri, and Laros had been claimed off waivers recently. The moves leave the Steelers with one available roster spot and one punter on the roster, Cameron Johnston.
The team also completed contract extensions with edge rusher Nick Herbig and tight end Darnell Washington earlier this month amid several roster changes.
