Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay said on Wednesday that the NEET exam should be scrapped for medical college admissions. He stressed that students should get admission based on class 12 marks. Vijay raised questions about the exam system on social media and said paper leak incidents are breaking students' trust.
The CBI arrested five people on Wednesday. Those arrested include Shubham Khairnar, Mangilal Biwal, Vikas Biwal, Dinesh Biwal and Yash Yadav. Rajasthan Police and the CBI conducted raids in multiple states and seized digital devices.
Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot alleged that one arrested person has links to the BJP. The BJP rejected the claims and promised strict action.
