At WWE NXT Vengeance Day on March 7, 2026, Tatum Paxley defeated champion Izzi Dame to win the NXT Women’s North American Championship in Orlando, Florida. The event featured several high-stakes matches, including title defenses and specialty bouts. Joe Hendry retained the NXT Championship against Ricky Saints in the main event.
WWE NXT Vengeance Day took place on March 7, 2026, at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, streaming on Peacock in the U.S. and Netflix internationally, starting at 7 p.m. ET.
The event opened with a Street Fight between Blake Monroe and Jaida Parker, who debuted a new theme song. The two have been rivals since Parker's return to NXT. Monroe secured the victory by spreading diamonds on the mat, tossing some into Parker's eyes, and executing a Glamour Shot onto the diamonds.
Next was a Parking Lot Brawl featuring Tony D’Angelo, accompanied by Lucien Price and Bronco Nima, against Dion Lennox, with Osiris Griffin, Saquon Shuggars, and Cutler James. D’Angelo attacked Lennox with a crowbar before the bell. The match ended with D’Angelo delivering a spear and a pop-up powerbomb for the win.
In the NXT Women’s North American Championship match, Tatum Paxley challenged champion Izzi Dame, who was with Shawn Spears and Niko Vance of The Culling. Their partnership ended in November 2025 when Dame and The Culling betrayed Paxley at NXT Gold Rush, costing her the NXT Women’s Championship. In January 2026, Dame ambushed Thea Hail during an open challenge at New Year’s Evil to win the title. Paxley fought off interference from The Culling and defeated Dame after countering a codebreaker with a cartwheel, followed by a running kick and a pin with the cemetery drive.
The NXT Underground Match saw Lola Vice face Kelani Jordan, stemming from Jordan breaking Vice’s hand. Vice, in her fourth Underground bout, won via technical knockout with a spinning backfist.
The main event was NXT Champion Joe Hendry defending against Ricky Saints, accompanied by Ethan Page. Page interfered but betrayed Saints by pushing the title belt toward Hendry. Hendry then low-blowed Saints behind the referee’s back and retained the championship, marking his second defense. This followed Hendry’s ladder match victory last month.
Post-match, Interim General Manager Robert Stone announced Jacy Jayne will defend the NXT Women’s Title against ZARIA and Sol Ruca in a triple threat on the March 17 NXT in Houston.
