The Cab announces new album and headlining tour

The Cab has revealed details of their upcoming album Chasing Crowns and a North American headlining tour. The band, returning after more than a decade, will release the 18-track record on April 24, following their 2025 EP Road To Reign: A Prelude. Frontman Alex DeLeon expressed excitement about reconnecting with fans through new music and live performances.

The Cab, known for their contributions to the pop-punk scene, marked their return with the 2025 EP Road To Reign: A Prelude after over ten years away from major releases. Building on this momentum, the band announced their full-length album Chasing Crowns, scheduled for release on April 24. The album includes 18 tracks, among them previously shared songs such as “Rollercoaster” and “Stay This Way Forever.” The full tracklist features titles like “Ultima Ratio Regum,” “Locked and Loaded,” “Back From The Dead,” “Lost With You,” “Ih8yourgutz,” “Sweet Kerosene,” “Every Little Lie,” “Ruin Me,” “Every Universe,” “Interlude,” “Wasted,” “Heart In A Blender,” “Fuck It,” “Hellraiser,” and “Tears In Reverse.”

A new single, “Locked And Loaded,” is set to launch on February 20. Frontman Alex DeLeon shared his enthusiasm in a statement: “After all this time, it feels like we are finally home again. We have been waiting over ten years to be able to headline, release an album, and sing these songs again with the fans, so this is completely surreal. Counting down the seconds to be on those stages and for people to see and hear what we have had up our sleeves.”

Complementing the album news, The Cab revealed plans for the Back From The Dead Tour, kicking off on May 22 in Dallas, Texas, at Echo Lounge & Music Hall. The tour will span multiple cities across the United States, including stops in Houston, Mesa, San Diego, Anaheim, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Portland, Salt Lake City, Denver, Minneapolis, Chicago, Pontiac, Nashville, Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, Atlanta, Silver Spring, Philadelphia, Sayreville, New York, and concluding on June 30 in Boston, Massachusetts, at Royale. Special guests Paradise Fears, Jady, and Carr will join on select dates. VIP packages are available now, with general sale tickets going on sale February 20 at 10 a.m. local time.

This announcement underscores The Cab's renewed activity in the alternative and pop-punk music landscape.
