Trump Media announced a new data feed that will deliver President Donald Trump's Truth Social posts to institutional traders ahead of regular users. The product, called Truth API, is set to launch on August 1 and targets algorithmic trading firms and banks.
The company made the announcement on July 16. The feed will cover 10 influential accounts, run around the clock, and reach subscribers faster than standard push notifications. Trump Media said customers have already signed up for the service.
Financial Times reported on July 17 that pricing could reach $100,000 per month. The company aims to sell faster access to market-moving posts, creating potential timing advantages in prediction markets.
Senator Ron Wyden criticized the plan, stating it would benefit the Trump family and Wall Street firms. Reuters noted that Trump Media did not respond to questions about unequal trading access.
The announcement raises questions for platforms like Kalshi and Polymarket about handling speed-based advantages after posts become public.
