Vans debuts frog-inspired OTW Authentic skate sneaker

Vans has released the OTW Authentic 44 Siped Vibram in 'Amphibian Deep Indigo,' a new skate shoe blending rugged construction with frog-like design elements. The sneaker features hairy suede uppers, siped Vibram soles for superior wet traction, and patterns mimicking pebbly frog skin. It builds on recent Vibram-soled models from the brand.

The OTW Authentic 44 stands out with its high-end build, including a crisp leather collar and textured details that evoke amphibian skin. Siped Vibram soles ensure reliable grip on slippery surfaces by channeling water away. Named 'Amphibian Deep Indigo,' the shoe combines durability for skating with a distinctive, nature-inspired aesthetic wrapped in hairy suede. {target='_blank'}Vans has expanded its Siped Vibram lineup over the past year, introducing variations such as brogue styles, collaborations with HAVEN clothing, and moccasin designs. This latest OTW model marks the first rugged skate shoe with explicit frog motifs in the series.Currently, the sneaker is primarily available overseas. Retailer Mita Sneakers lists it online for approximately $105.
