Vola to perform 10th anniversary show for Inmazes album

The Danish-Swedish band VOLA has announced a special 10th-anniversary concert for their debut album Inmazes, set for November 30, 2025, at Koncertsalen in DR Koncerthuset, Copenhagen. The show will feature a full performance of the 2015 album, which blended progressive rock, electronica, industrial, and metal elements. Tickets are now available for the event celebrating the band's origins.

Event Details

VOLA will take the stage on November 30, 2025, at the Koncertsalen venue within DR Koncerthuset in Copenhagen, Denmark, for a one-night-only performance of their debut album Inmazes in full. Originally self-released in 2015 and later reissued worldwide by Mascot Records, Inmazes introduced the band's signature sound—a fusion of 1970s progressive rock, modern electronica, industrial influences, and metal, underscored by clear vocal lines exploring themes of mental entrapment and the pursuit of happiness.

The band shared their excitement in a statement: "Ten years later, we return to where it all began. On 30 November 2025, we’ll be performing Inmazes in full in the breathtaking Koncertsalen at DR Koncerthuset in København. Join us for an unforgettable evening." At the time of the album's release, frontman Asger Mygind described its lyrical focus: "Lyrically, Inmazes deals with entrapment. The album captures the feeling of being trapped in mental mazes, unable to fully experience happiness. How is this struggle visualised in your own mind, and how do your surroundings react to the behaviour caused by it."

Key tracks from the album include the singles "Gutter Moon," "Stray the Skies," "Starburn," and "Emily," many of which have become enduring live favorites.

Band Background

Formed as a Danish-Swedish quartet—Asger Mygind on vocals and guitar, Martin Werner on keys, Nicolai Mogensen on bass, and Adam Janzi on drums—VOLA has built a global following since Inmazes. They followed it with three more studio albums: Applause of a Distant Crowd (2018), Witness (2021), and Friend of a Phantom (2024), plus the live album Live From The Pool (2022). The band has sold out tours across Europe, completed successful runs in the US (including upgraded venues in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago), Canada (sold-out shows in Toronto and Montreal), and South America (Mexico, Brazil, and Chile). Upcoming performances are scheduled for Australia and Japan in February 2026, highlighting their expanding international presence.
