A woman drowned on Saturday at Svanesundsbadet on Orust. Rescue efforts failed to save her life.
The alarm about the drowning incident came at 14:36. The Coast Guard was first on the scene with a jet ski equipped with a defibrillator.
– We were first on site and were able to connect the defibrillator and perform CPR on the woman. She could not be saved, says Christian Carlsson, duty officer at the Coast Guard.
According to reports, relatives have been notified of the incident.
