Wuling introduces Aira EV details ahead of GIIAS 2026 launch

Wuling Motors introduced the Aira EV to media on Saturday (11/7/2026) at its Cikarang plant in West Java ahead of its official launch at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026.

The Media First Impression event coincided with Wuling's celebration of nine years operating in Indonesia. President Director Wuling Motors Tang Wensheng said the company's journey could not be separated from the support of employees, customers, and business partners.

Product Planning Wuling Motors Aji Ibrahim said the session aimed to provide an initial overview of the Aira EV's character. The electric car has compact dimensions with a length of 3,268 mm, width of 1,550 mm, height of 1,575 mm, and wheelbase of 2,190 mm.

The Aira EV is equipped with a 30 kW electric motor and 25.1 kWh battery offering a range of up to 300 kilometers according to CLTC standards. Wuling also equipped the vehicle with safety features such as two airbags, TPMS, ESC, and a rear parking camera.

The model will complement Wuling's electric vehicle lineup in Indonesia after the Air EV, Binguo EV, and Cloud EV. The official launch of the Aira EV is scheduled at GIIAS 2026 to be held at the end of July.
