Huduma Kenya says smart driving licences take 4 to 8 weeks

Huduma Kenya has clarified that smart driving licence processing takes 4 to 8 weeks at a cost of KSh3,050. This responds to a public query but contrasts NTSA's prior statement of about five days. Motorists have complained of delays since January 2026.
