Fire damages historic la soldadera restaurant near monument to the revolution
La soldadera restaurant, with 31 years of history in Mexico City, suffered a fire on the night of October 24, 2025, leading to the evacuation of 50 diners with no serious injuries. The establishment, inspired by the soldaderas of the Mexican Revolution, is located in front of the Monument to the Revolution. The apparent cause was a gas leak from a heater.
