North Korea's meteorology agency has developed a new weather forecasting system applying artificial intelligence (AI) across the entire process. The system aims to boost accuracy and shorten forecasting times, amid heightened focus on disaster preparedness after last year's floods. State media has recognized it as one of the country's top 10 information technology products of the year.
