AFC Women’s Champions League knockout stage cast finalised

The group stage of the AFC Women’s Champions League 2025/26 concluded on Sunday, confirming the quarter-final lineup. Defending champions Wuhan Jiangda Women’s FC topped Group B with a 4-0 victory over Bam Khatoon FC. PFC Nasaf advanced as one of the best third-placed teams after a 3-0 win against East Bengal FC.

The AFC Women’s Champions League 2025/26 reached a key milestone as the knockout stage participants were determined following the final group matches on November 23, 2025. In Group B, Wuhan Jiangda Women’s FC secured their spot at the top of the standings with seven points after defeating Bam Khatoon FC 4-0 in Wuhan. This result placed them three points ahead of second-placed PFC Nasaf from Uzbekistan.

Earlier in the day, PFC Nasaf ensured their progression by beating East Bengal FC 3-0, moving to four points and qualifying as one of the two best third-placed finishers. The Uzbekistan side's advancement was confirmed with the possibility of automatic progression depending on other results, which ultimately favored their position.

Overall, the top teams from each of the three groups, along with the two best third-placed sides, advanced to the quarter-finals. The draw for the knockout stage is scheduled for January 15 in Kuala Lumpur. This sets the stage for the defending champions Wuhan Jiangda to continue their title defense in the upcoming rounds.
