British artist Allen Jones has opened an exhibition of his works at Sceners Gallery in Paris. The show includes pieces that inspired Kim Kardashian’s metallic Met Gala look earlier this week.
The exhibition titled Forms and Temptations features several of Jones’s signature fiberglass sculptures. Among them are Red Refrigerator, a mannequin in a painted catsuit inside a cabinet, and Cover Story 4/4, a full-body figure in lemon yellow that echoes Kardashian’s orange breastplate design. Jones, who will turn 89 later this year, traveled from his home in England for the opening three weeks ago.
