Amazon develops ai-animated series from licensed character

Loryn Brantz, creator of The Good Advice Cupcake, has expressed anger after learning that BuzzFeed licensed the character for an Amazon streaming series made with generative artificial intelligence.

Brantz created the cartoon almost a decade ago while working at BuzzFeed. The company has now allowed Amazon to produce an animated television show based on the character using AI tools, according to the creator.
