Carlo Ancelotti has signed a four-year contract extension to remain as Brazil coach until 2030. The Italian will lead the team at the 2026 World Cup and the 2030 tournament. He also gains the chance to coach Brazil at the 2028 Copa America.
Ancelotti took charge of Brazil in May 2025 after a poor start to 2026 World Cup qualifying. He steadied the side and secured qualification with wins over Paraguay and Chile. The team has shown mixed results in recent friendlies but the Brazilian Football Confederation has backed him for the long term.
