WNBA star Angel Reese and Reebok have announced the release date for the 'Navy Halo' colorway of her signature sneaker, the Angel Reese 1. The edition will launch on March 13, 2026, as part of the SS26 collection. More colorways are planned in the coming weeks.
Angel Reese, the Chicago Sky forward, partnered with Reebok in October 2023 to launch her signature sneaker line. The first three colorways of the Angel Reese 1 arrived in retailers in September 2025, drawing inspiration from her Maryland roots, rebounding skills, and her dog Tiago.
The latest, 'Navy Halo,' marks the second release from the SS26 collection and becomes available on March 13, 2026, at 10 a.m. EST via Reebok's website and Dick's Sporting Goods stores. Reese described the design in a statement: "The Angel Reese 1 ‘Navy Halo’ is built to inspire strength and confidence. The deep blue is strong and effortless—it’s that quiet confidence you carry when you know exactly who you are and what you bring to the game."
This colorway joins three others in the SS26 lineup: 'Rose Dust,' which Reese debuted in late February 2026 during her return to Unrivaled Basketball; 'Gala Green'; and 'Unapologetically Angel.' Reese commented on the collection: "I’ve always believed your style should match your mindset. Coming back to the court in these new Angel Reese 1 colorways feels powerful–each one built with intention and made to stand out."
Reese chose Reebok over competitors like Nike because the brand lacked a prominent women's basketball endorser, allowing her to fill that role. Her connection to Reebok's President of Basketball, Shaquille O'Neal—a former Los Angeles Lakers player and LSU alum—also influenced the decision. O'Neal recounted persuading her: "Angel, you want to go with Nike where they're just gonna give you a regular shoe. Or do you want to deal with a motherfu-ker that will give you your own shoe?"
Separately, Reese expressed joy over her brother Julian Reese's NBA debut with the Washington Wizards on March 2, 2026, after signing a two-way contract. "I'm really happy for him," she said. "I was so emotional when I found out, I was crying so hard like I just hit the lottery."
