Arnold Vosloo Cast as Antagonist in Vijay Deverakonda Ranabaali

Arnold Vosloo has been cast as the British antagonist Sir Theodore Hector in the period action drama Ranabaali. The film stars Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna under director Rahul Sankrityan.

Director Rahul Sankrityan selected Vosloo for the role of a ruthless British character inspired by a real-life figure. He noted that Vosloo's work in The Mummy is well known in India and provides a nostalgia factor for audiences.

Ranabaali is described as a period action drama with Vijay Deverakonda portraying a messianic figure. This marks the first film pairing for Vijay and Rashmika since their marriage, following their earlier collaborations in Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade.

The project is slated for a theatrical release on September 11.
