The first goal came in the seventh minute of the second half, as Nico de la Cruz capitalized on a rebound from outside the area and struck precisely. At the 17th minute, Samuel Lino won a penalty, which Arrascaeta converted, scoring his 100th goal for Flamengo. This milestone confirms the Uruguayan as the club's top foreign scorer, in 316 games, with 100 goals and 109 assists.
The score was sealed in the 40th minute of the second half, with Luiz Araújo receiving a pass from Samuel Lino and tapping into an empty net.
The return leg is set for March 2 at 21h. If they advance, Flamengo will contest their eighth consecutive Carioca final.
