Bad Bunny band covers Avicii hit at Stockholm concert

Bad Bunny's band paid tribute to Avicii with a cover of 'Wake Me Up' during a show in Sweden. Guitarist José Eduardo Santana performed the 2013 track on the cuatro at Friends Arena.

The performance took place on July 11 at the Friends Arena in Stockholm. It formed part of Bad Bunny's world tour supporting his album 'Debí Tirar Más Fotos'.

Santana delivered the rendition as a memorial to the late Swedish DJ and producer Avicii, who died in 2018. The cover added a Puerto Rican folk element to the original song featuring Aloe Blacc.

The Stockholm date followed Bad Bunny's appearances in London earlier on the tour. Those shows included a collaboration with Damon Albarn on Gorillaz tracks.
