Returning series and specials like the Golden Globes and Grammys fill out the programming slate.

Overview

CBS announced its midseason 2026 schedule on November 17, 2025, following reveals from ABC, Fox, and NBC. The lineup emphasizes returning scripted dramas, new spinoffs, and reality staples, with most scripted shows resuming in February and key debuts in March.

Key Premieres

The FBI spinoff CIA, starring Tom Ellis from Lucifer and Nick Gehlfuss from Chicago Med, premieres on Monday, February 23, at 10 p.m. ET, following returns of The Neighborhood, DMV, and FBI. Y: Marshals, a Yellowstone series centered on Kayce Dutton and starring Luke Grimes, debuts Sunday, March 1, at 8 p.m. ET, after 60 Minutes, shifting Tracker to 9 p.m. and introducing Watson at 10 p.m. on the same night.

Survivor reaches its 50th season with a three-hour premiere on Wednesday, February 25, at 8 p.m. ET, followed by 90-minute episodes. Leading up, CBS airs 10 iconic episodes from past seasons between February 9 and 20, highlighting returning castaways; specific episodes will be detailed later.

Returning Shows and Specials

February brings back nearly all CBS scripted series, including Boston Blue, Elsbeth, Fire Country, Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage, Ghosts, Matlock, NCIS, NCIS: Origins, NCIS: Sydney, and The Neighborhood. January features lighter fare like Hollywood Squares Season 2, The Price Is Right at Night, and the true-crime Harlan Coben's Final Twist on Wednesdays.

Specials include the 83rd Annual Golden Globes on Sunday, January 11, hosted by Nikki Glaser; the 68th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 1; and the Super Bowl Commercials special on Monday, February 2. In March, cooking competition America's Culinary Cup launches Wednesday, March 4, at 9:30 p.m., with Hollywood Squares moving to 10:30 p.m. as half-hour episodes.

Fall and winter finale dates are forthcoming. This schedule positions CBS to balance established hits with fresh content amid network competition.
