Depancel has released a 100-piece limited edition of its Série-R Chronograph in an Ice Blue colorway. The watch sold out quickly after launch at a price of €1,495 each.
The new model draws inspiration from the 1947 Talbot-Lago T26, a car known for its elegant bodywork by Figoni & Falaschi. It features a 36 by 40 millimeter case and uses the Chinese Peacock SL-4801 automatic chronograph movement with a 60-hour power reserve.
The dial includes a sunburst center and vertically engraved lines that echo the car's grille design. A perforated leather strap in dark blue completes the look.
This version marks a departure from the brand's earlier race-inspired Série-R models. All pieces were gone shortly after the release became available.
