Chinese consumer tech firm Dreame has revealed the Nebula Next 01 Jet Edition, an electric vehicle concept featuring solid-state rocket boosters for acceleration from 0 to 62 mph in 0.9 seconds. The unveiling took place on Monday at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. The concept builds on an earlier model shown at CES 2026.
Dreame, known for its robot vacuums, introduced the Jet Edition as an extension of its Nebula Next 01 sedan concept. The base model claims 1,876 horsepower from four motors and a 0-62 mph time of 1.8 seconds. Engineers added rocket boosters to the chassis to overcome tire traction limits, according to the company. No live demonstration of the rockets occurred, with the vehicle remaining stationary during the presentation. The boosters are solid-state and consumable, burning fuel in a single use, though details on refueling, cost, safety, and regulatory approval were not provided. Dreame highlighted other features, including a robotics-based chassis with electromechanical brakes, magnetic actuator suspension, and the SEWE AI system for driving and driver interaction. A standout element was the DHX1 lidar sensor, described as the first full-color system with 4K resolution, 4,320 channels, and detection up to 600 meters. The company outlined plans for production of the Next 01 lineup, including an 01X SUV variant and the Jet Edition, potentially starting in China late 2026 for 2027 deliveries. Pricing and export details, particularly to the US amid regulatory challenges for Chinese automakers, remain undisclosed.
