Empty Behavior and ASICS launch ballet-coded Hypersync sneaker

Empty Behavior has collaborated with ASICS on a new version of the Hypersync sneaker that blends wrestling shoe roots with ballet-inspired details. The flat design features floral mesh, ruffles and quilted elements in black and silver colorways.

The Hypersync model, which first appeared earlier this spring, draws from archival wrestling and track shoes. Empty Behavior has added ballet-style touches including ruffles and silky quilted tongues while keeping the super-flat silhouette.

This marks the second partnership between the two brands. Their previous project in 2024 reworked the ASICS Gel-Nimbus 10.1 into a silver-coated design.

The Empty Behavior x ASICS Hypersync sneaker is scheduled to release on July 2 through the ASICS website and selected retailers.
