Eve, from Embraer, announces sale of up to 46 eVTOLs

Eve, a subsidiary of Embraer, signed letters of intent for the sale of 46 eVTOL aircraft to companies from Switzerland and the United States.

The Brazilian manufacturer announced the agreement on Sunday (19). Thirty aircraft will go to Moov, a Swiss aviation company, and 16 to Shearwater Global Capital, a US aeronautical financing firm. The values of the transactions were not disclosed.

The deal with Moov includes collaboration to assess advanced air mobility opportunities in Cape Verde and Europe. The companies plan to analyze uses such as panoramic flights, transport between airports, ports and resorts, as well as regional connections between the islands of São Vicente, Santo Antão, Sal, Praia and Boa Vista.

Johann Bordais, CEO of Eve, said the agreement reinforces the company's commitment to customers and partners. Chris Miller, a director at Shearwater, highlighted confidence in the technology and in Eve's vision for advanced air mobility.
