The 2026 FIFA World Cup marks a historic expansion, growing from 32 to 48 teams and increasing matches from 64 to 104. The schedule, now available on FIFA.com, begins with Mexico facing South Africa on June 11 at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City and concludes with the final on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Host cities include 11 in the US, three in Mexico, and two in Canada, with venues like Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, and Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.
Group stage fixtures run from June 11 to 27, followed by the Round of 32 starting June 28. Matches are grouped into 12 sets (A through L), featuring teams such as Brazil in Group C, Portugal in Group K, and Uruguay in Group H. The format ensures synchronized final group games and prioritizes player welfare with additional rest days.
In Miami, Hard Rock Stadium will host seven encounters: Saudi Arabia vs. Uruguay (Group H) on June 15 at 6 p.m. ET; Uruguay vs. Cape Verde (Group H) on June 21 at 6 p.m. ET; Scotland vs. Brazil (Group C) on June 24 at 6 p.m. ET; Colombia vs. Portugal (Group K) on June 27 at 7:30 p.m. ET; a Round of 32 match on July 3 at 6 p.m. ET; a quarterfinal on July 11 at 5 p.m. ET; and the bronze medal match on July 18 at 5 p.m. ET.

Tickets are available through FIFA's random selection draw, open until January 13, 2026, with prices starting around $1,400 for group stage seats. Hospitality packages begin at $6,750.
