FIFA World Cup 2026 tickets feature dynamic pricing

FIFA has introduced dynamic pricing for World Cup 2026 tickets, adjusting costs based on demand for the tournament across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Prices range from $60 for early group-stage matches to $6,730 for the final at MetLife Stadium. Fans can purchase through official sales phases and resale options starting now.

The FIFA World Cup 2026, set for June 11 to July 19, will feature 104 matches across 16 host cities in three countries, with over six million tickets available. Dynamic pricing means costs fluctuate in real-time based on supply and demand, similar to airline tickets, aiming to provide fair access near market value. For instance, some FIFA Club World Cup knockout tickets sold as low as $13 earlier this year.

Ticket sales occur in phases via the official FIFA portal, requiring account registration. The Visa Presale Draw ran September 10-19 for qualifying cardholders. The Early Ticket Draw had entries from October 27-31, with purchases starting November 17, including priority access November 12-15 for host nation residents. Following the December 5 draw at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., a Random Selection Draw allows applications for specific matches. Last-minute sales begin in spring 2026 on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tickets are categorized by seating: Category 1 in lower tiers (most expensive), Category 2 across upper and lower, Category 3 in upper tiers, and Category 4 as the most affordable upper-tier option. Group-stage tickets start at $60, while the July 19 final at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, could reach $6,730, with estimates from $2,030 to $7,875. On resale sites like StubHub, final tickets begin at $5,605.

Packages include Single Match (from $1,400), Venue Series (from $8,275 for 4-9 matches at one venue), and Follow My Team (from $6,750 for a team's group and round-of-32 games, excluding hosts). The official FIFA Resale Marketplace, open since October 2, offers secure exchanges, though availability is limited. Secondary markets like StubHub provide alternatives but with varying prices. No on-site sales will occur at stadiums.

Host nations are pre-allocated: Mexico in Group A for the June 11 opener, Canada in Group B, and the United States in Group D, both on June 12.
