The 2025 edition of Gran Salón Ferretero ended in Bogotá with business expectations exceeding US$5 million, driven by an international business roundtable. The event gathered 242 exhibitors and over 8,000 construction and hardware professionals. Organized by Concept2B, Corferias, and Koelnmesse, it solidified the global projection of Colombia's industry.
The Gran Salón Ferretero 2025, held in Bogotá over three days, reaffirmed the strength of Colombia's hardware and construction sector. The inaugural Business Roundtable produced over 41 commercial meetings with buyers from countries including Brazil, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Panama, Peru, and Venezuela, leading to expectations of deals surpassing US$5 million.
Lilián Conde, Corferias project manager, called the outcome very positive, as it exceeded participation targets and provided a representative space for the industry, linked to emerging trends. Gerald Böse, CEO of Koelnmesse —organizer of the Eisenwarenmesse in Cologne—, viewed the partnership as a way to place Colombia and Latin America on the global stage, advancing local business internationalization.
Participating brands achieved strong results. Latam Trade Partners – Workpro secured over 200 distributor contacts, far exceeding its initial goal of 32. Ferretería Luis Penagos, in its first appearance, recorded sales near $140 million and projections above 20,000 euros from the roundtable. PegoMax gathered more than 1,000 qualified leads, while OIT Productos connected with over 10,000 direct customers.
Beyond commerce, the Ferretera Academy trained over 500 attendees on topics like digitalization, customer service, and sustainability. Darío Bastidas, Concept2B commercial manager, stressed that the fair does more than display products: "it builds the future of the industry," showing Colombia's readiness to lead sector innovation.
Organizers are already preparing the 2026 edition, set for October 28-30, aiming to broaden regional reach and add new business categories.
