Halfbrick Studios unveils first PC game Guncrypt

Halfbrick Studios has revealed Guncrypt, its first title for PC that also supports Linux through Steam Play. The dungeon crawler centers on strategic bullet loading rather than gear upgrades.

The studio, known for mobile hits including Jetpack Joyride and Fruit Ninja, described the game as featuring three guns, more than 60 bullet types, and 80 relics that combine for varied effects.

Players navigate four procedurally generated floors filled with enemies and bosses. Tarot cards provide starting bonuses, while a curse level system increases difficulty across runs.

A demo is currently available and runs on Linux systems without extra files. A native Linux version is planned for release after the initial launch.

No release date or price has been announced yet, with the Steam page listing the game as coming soon.
