Management team appointed for Europe's largest Hampton by Hilton in Manchester

Following the announcement of its April 2026 opening, Europe's largest Hampton by Hilton hotel in Manchester has appointed a new management team led by General Manager Abi Hindle and Group Commercial Director Tom Ansbro to oversee operations amid the city's tourism growth.

The Hampton by Hilton Manchester City Centre, a 358-room property set to become the largest of its kind in the UK and Europe, has named its leadership ahead of the April 2026 opening. This builds on recent details about the hotel's central Deansgate location, modern amenities, and role in supporting Manchester's conferences, events, and visitor economy.

General Manager Abi Hindle brings deep brand experience, having previously served as Director of Sales and General Manager in commercial and operational roles. She will focus on team building, guest services, and operational setup to deliver Hilton's global standards tailored to Manchester.

Joining her is Group Commercial Director Tom Ansbro, with expertise from senior sales positions at Hilton Manchester Deansgate and The Lowry Hotel. Ansbro will drive sales strategies, partnerships with travel operators and corporates, and market expansion for leisure and business guests.

The appointments reflect confidence in Manchester's growth, aligning with Hilton's UK expansion in key urban markets. The hotel, developed by Dean Street Developments, features city views, complimentary breakfast with the Hampton Waffle station, a fitness centre, and meeting spaces.
