The Netflix film Heartstopper Forever concludes the adaptation of Alice Oseman's graphic novel series with a focus on the central couple's evolving relationship.
The movie, directed by Wash Westmoreland, follows Charlie Spring and Nick Nelson as they navigate university decisions, prom and graduation while dealing with a temporary break-up.
Oseman adapted elements from an earlier short story for the split, which occurs at a party. The film also includes four scenes of physical intimacy that advance the story of their equal partnership.
Elle Argent leads a Pride parade sequence and delivers a speech about challenges facing trans youth. Other characters receive resolutions in a montage that shows the group moving forward after school.
Heartstopper Forever is now streaming on Netflix. Locke and Connor said they would consider returning if a strong story emerged.
