Jariyahku volunteers distribute 1,500 rice packets to Cisolok flood survivors

Waves of compassion continue to reach residents affected by flooding in Cikahuripan Village, Cisolok District, Sukabumi Regency. On Tuesday (October 28, 2025), Jariyahku volunteers arrived at the site carrying 1,500 portions of ready-to-eat meals, which were immediately distributed to survivors.

The flash floods that struck on Monday (October 28, 2025) hit hardest in Kampung Tugu, Cikahuripan Village. At least 500 homes were submerged, forcing 1,500 residents to evacuate. Jariyahku's aid consisted of cooked rice packets designed as substantial meals to ease the victims' basic needs.

One volunteer, Misbah (25), said, “Alhamdulillah, today we had the opportunity to distribute 1,500 rice packets to our brothers and sisters affected by the floods in Cisolok.” He added that the team would continue delivering similar aid in the coming days. “We hope this simple assistance can somewhat lighten the burden on the survivors,” Misbah stated.

This initiative forms part of broader efforts to support recovery in the area, where various volunteer groups have mobilized to aid residents who lost their homes and daily necessities.
