The victory in front of over 1,000 spectators gives Lif Lindesberg a 2–0 series win, following an earlier away victory. They now await final qualification against the Allsvenskan. Coach Joakim Bååk described the match afterwards: “It was a real qualification match. Lots of emotions, fight and toil.” The series was thus decided in Lif Lindesberg's favor in the second match.
