Indie pop duo Magdalena Bay has unveiled two new tracks, 'This Is the World (I Made It for You)' and 'Nice Day,' as part of a collection compiling their recent singles. The box set, titled Nice Day: A Collection of Singles, includes eight songs from their autumn releases. This project follows their 2024 album Imaginal Disk and arrives amid their ongoing tour.
Release Details
Magdalena Bay, the project of Mica Tenenbaum and Matthew Lewin, has wrapped up a prolific autumn with the release of two final singles: “This Is the World (I Made It for You)” and “Nice Day.” These tracks join six previously shared songs in the new compilation Nice Day: A Collection of Singles, available as a box set and individual 7" vinyl singles.
The duo's recent output began in late September 2025 with “Second Sleep” and “Star Eyes,” followed by “Human Happens” and “Paint Me a Picture” in mid-October, and “Unoriginal” and “Black-Eyed Susan Climb” on Halloween. All eight songs form a cohesive collection that serves as a conceptual successor to their 2024 album Imaginal Disk.
In a statement about the new songs, Tenenbaum and Lewin said, “This is the final pair. (We made it for you.) Thank you for listening to these songs; it’s been a nice day to tangle with you.”
