Marina to host Lagos Autofest on December 22

The BMW Club of Nigeria and Work and Play Promotion have announced the Lagos Autofest 2025, scheduled for December 22 at the Marina in Lagos. Organizers chose the location for its iconic status and role in showcasing the city as a premier tourist destination. The event aims to deliver automotive excellence, entertainment, and celebrations surpassing past editions.

The Lagos Autofest 2025 is set to take place on December 22 at the Marina, a site selected by organizers for its historic relevance and globally recognized architecture that positions Lagos as a model city and top tourist spot.

This annual event, organized by the BMW Club of Nigeria and Work and Play Promotion, will feature a showcase of automotive excellence alongside entertainment and festivities. Preparations are underway to exceed the success of previous years, making it a key highlight in the 'Detty December' season of social and industry gatherings.

A crucial pre-event meeting occurred on November 27, 2025, hosted by Work and Play Promotion at their venue in Ikeja. The gathering drew significant attendance from stakeholders, reflecting the high anticipation for the Autofest.

Representatives included Work and Play Promotions, BMW Nigeria, the Lagos State Sports Commission, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, and the Neighbourhood Watch, among others.

Adeoye Ojuoko, President of Work and Play Promotion, addressed the group, urging continued enthusiasm. He stated: “The Autofest train is rapidly gathering speed, I strongly encourage all interested organisations, sponsors, vendors, and enthusiasts to expedite their engagement.”
