The open beta for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls encountered significant performance issues on PC after launching on July 24.
Players reported high CPU usage and memory consumption when running the game on Steam. Reports described the title using up to 95 percent of processor resources on mid-range hardware during testing.
Developers at Arc System Works and Sony acknowledged the problems in an official statement. They said the team is investigating the issues and working on a fix.
The game is scheduled to release on August 6. The beta also launched on PlayStation 5, where players reported fewer technical difficulties once network services stabilized.
