During the streak, McDavid has recorded 19 goals and 25 assists, tying Wayne Gretzky's 1986-87 mark for the seventh-longest in Oilers history.
Oilers defenseman Evan Bouchard praised McDavid, saying, “I don’t know what else there is to say about [McDavid]. He’s a leader on and off the ice. Obviously, he drives our team. Yeah, he’s been great all season long, so I’m not shocked he’s at 19 games right now.”
