Morgan Wallen revealed his upcoming single Been by Now during a concert on July 18. The track received its live debut at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.
Wallen performed the song for the first time at his Still the Problem Tour stop in Baltimore, Maryland. He announced the official release date as Friday, July 24, and later posted a 40-second clip of the recorded version online.
The midtempo track features lyrics about a relationship that is not progressing. It marks Wallen's first new solo release since the April duet I Can't Love You Anymore with Ella Langley.
Wallen's 2025 album I'm the Problem continues to perform strongly on the charts. The Still the Problem Tour is scheduled to continue with a stop in Ann Arbor, Michigan, next weekend before concluding in Philadelphia.
