Norisbank offers four percent interest on Tagesgeld until year end

Norisbank has launched a new Tagesgeld account with four percent interest. The offer runs until the end of 2026 and responds to the market entry of US bank Chase.

Competition in the German Tagesgeld market is intensifying. After the American online bank Chase launched with four percent interest on Wednesday, Norisbank as a subsidiary of Deutsche Bank has now followed suit.

Norisbank's offer provides four percent interest on deposits up to 250,000 euros. The guarantee runs from July 1 to December 31, 2026, covering half a year.

Oliver Maier from Verivox said Chase has put other banks under pressure, which will benefit savers. Interest at Norisbank is credited quarterly, unlike the monthly payout at Chase.
