The Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department has appointed a six-member committee to inspect the Annadhanam scheme at Sri Subramanyaswamy Temple in Tiruchendur.
The team will examine all aspects of the scheme and the guest house rooms for devotees. The move follows a recent inspection of the temple by Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Minister S. Ramesh. Commissioner T.G. Vinay issued the order directing temple officials to cooperate with the committee. The department had transferred Tiruchendur Temple officials last week.
