Peacock announces February 8 premiere for Keke Palmer's 'The 'Burbs'

Peacock has set a February 8, 2026, premiere date for all eight episodes of 'The 'Burbs,' the mystery comedy series starring Keke Palmer. The streamer revealed on December 4, 2025, that the full first season of 'The 'Burbs' will drop simultaneously on Peacock on Sunday, February 8, 2026. This straight-to-series order came in September 2024, marking a modern take on the Joe Dante-directed 1989 film produced by Universal Pictures.

Plot and Cast

The series centers on a young couple, played by Keke Palmer and Jack Whitehall, who move into the husband's childhood home in a seemingly idyllic suburb. Their peace is shattered when a new neighbor arrives, uncovering dark secrets and deadly threats in the cul-de-sac. Supporting the leads are Julia Duffy, Paula Pell, Mark Proksch, and Kapil Talwalkar.

Celeste Hughey created, wrote, and executive produces the show, with Rachel Shukert also writing and executive producing. Palmer serves as an executive producer in addition to starring.
