Peter Mudau has expressed pride in his son Khuliso Mudau’s achievements with Bafana Bafana at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The defender from Musina has become a key player for the national team.
Peter Mudau, father of Mamelodi Sundowns defender Khuliso Mudau, said he feels proud that his son is representing the family and community of Musina in Limpopo. Khuliso has earned a regular place in the Bafana Bafana squad at the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America after starting his career at JDR Stars more than a decade ago.
He moved to Sundowns in 2020 following spells at Magesi FC and Black Leopards. His first Bafana cap came the same year. Peter Mudau noted that he encouraged his son to maintain consistency after selection in coach Hugo Broos’ final 26-man squad.
Bafana Bafana are scheduled to face Canada on 28 June 2026 at Los Angeles Stadium, with kick-off set for 21:00 South African time. Peter Mudau urged the team to keep working hard and aim for further progress in the tournament.
