Philadelphia may shift Bichette to second base, displacing Bryson Stott (.257 AVG in 2025, .225 vs. lefties, controlled two more years) or moving third baseman Alec Bohm (production dip, minus-2 OAA, controlled one year).
Meanwhile, the Blue Jays—fresh off a World Series run—have reduced need for Bichette by signing Japanese third baseman Kazuma Okamoto (four years, $60 million; .327/.416 slash in 69 games despite injury) and Dylan Cease (seven years, $210 million), signaling a roster reload.
