SMHI warns of heavy rain in eastern Svealand on Sunday. Torrential rain fell over Uppsala County.
During Sunday afternoon rain fell on and off in large parts of Stockholm and Uppsala Counties. SMHI had issued a yellow warning from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. with expected amounts of 30 to 50 millimeters.
Monsur Rehman, who was fishing when the rain started, said it was time for rain. He added that one might want to bring an umbrella.
Sweden is in a period of unstable summer weather with warnings for heavy rain in several parts of the country.
