When asked how she now addresses Denada, Ressa replied with a trembling voice, “Harusnya Ibu ya,” or “It should be Ibu.” This reflected her hope for a warmer relationship after 24 years apart.
Ressa, now 24 years old, voiced disappointment over past neglect but insisted Denada was not at fault in her eyes. Tearfully, she pleaded, “Ressa minta tolong janganlah sampai diboikot-boikot itu karena Ressa nggak mau sampai seperti ini. Kasihan juga bagaimanapun itu Ibu Ressa. Di mata Ressa nggak ada salahnya.
