Robbie Williams seals two-year Port Vale shirt deal

Pop star Robbie Williams has agreed for his RW logo to appear on Port Vale shirts for the next two seasons. The lifelong supporter will also serve as the club's first foundation ambassador.

The fourth-tier club announced the partnership on June 12. Williams, born near Vale Park in Burslem, called the arrangement a match made in heaven.

“I started going to the Vale when it was 50p for a junior supporter to get in,” he said. “It feels pretty incredible, to be honest.”

The home shirts go on sale June 13 at 09:00 BST. Williams previously donated £240,000 to the club during financial trouble in 2006 and was named club president in February 2024.

Vale chief executive Matt Hancock described the deal as powerful because of the singer's authentic connection to the team and community.
