Roger Dubuis releases Excalibur The Kabuto Legacy watch

Roger Dubuis has launched a new limited edition timepiece called the Excalibur The Kabuto Legacy. The 28-piece watch draws inspiration from 17th century Japan and features samurai helmet designs.

The Roger Dubuis Excalibur The Kabuto Legacy uses a 45mm case made from 18K pink gold. It displays 12 hand-carved kabuto helmets as hour markers around a central sculpture of Edo Castle built from 17 pink gold components.

The watch runs on the Caliber RD821 automatic movement with a 48-hour power reserve. It carries the Poinçon de Genève certification and comes with a blue calf leather strap that includes hand-stitched details and a pink gold deployant clasp.

This model forms part of the brand's Knights of the Round Table series but shifts the theme to Japanese unification. Each helmet represents a different samurai commander with unique crests. The limited edition is priced at $384,000.
