RuPaul leads cast in Stop! That! Train! disaster spoof

The comedy film Stop! That! Train! opened to reviews on June 10 after a screening in Los Angeles two days earlier. Directed by Adam Shankman, it features RuPaul Charles as President Judy Gagwell alongside stars from RuPaul's Drag Race.

The story follows two stewardesses who join the Glamazonian Express crew to avert a collision with a massive storm. They team up with the president, who battles personal trauma from her time in the rail force. Performances by Ginger Minj as Tess and Jujubee as DeeDee anchor the action alongside supporting turns from Brooke Lynn Hytes, Symone and Rachel Bloom. The script mixes disaster movie tropes with wordplay and references familiar to fans of the drag competition series. Screened at CAA in Los Angeles on June 8, the 92-minute feature carries an R rating from the MPA. World of Wonder produced the project in association with Unapologetic Projects and Cinetic Media for a Bleecker Street release.
