The Canadian rock band Rush is offering fans an early taste of their reissued classic album Grace Under Pressure with a newly released live rendition of 'Kid Gloves'. Captured during their September 21, 1984, performance at Toronto's Maple Leaf Gardens, this audio clip highlights the band's energetic stage presence from the era.
The full concert, now titled Grace Under Pressure Tour: Live in Toronto 1984, forms a key part of the super deluxe edition, scheduled for March 13. This edition expands on previous releases, incorporating 37 minutes of previously unreleased footage. Portions of the original show had appeared in the band's 1986 Grace Under Pressure Tour home video and CD, but the new package delivers the complete experience on CD and Blu-ray.
Beyond the live material, the set features a remastered version of the original 1984 album and a fresh stereo mix derived from the analog master tapes. The Blu-ray edition includes innovative audio mixes, such as Dolby Atmos, alongside remastered videos for tracks including 'Distant Early Warning', 'Afterimage', 'The Enemy Within', and 'The Body Electric'.
Available in multiple formats, the super deluxe edition comes as a limited four-CD plus Blu-ray set with a 52-page hardcover book. It is also offered digitally and as a five-LP plus Blu-ray package. The original album's eight tracks will stream in Dolby Atmos, while the remastered concert video heads to digital platforms. All versions are open for preorder.
